Oil and filter - two things necessary for proper engine operation!

Engine oil change and filter change are the basis of every car inspection. Neglecting the oil and oil filter can cost you dearly - used oil deprived of its original quality will not protect your engine during winter start-up and may lead to overheating in the summer months. It is very important to choose the oil recommended by the manufacturer - for example, cars with a diesel engine equipped with a DPF filter should use oils intended for that type of engine.

How often should you inspect your car?

As a standard, you should do this every 20 thousand kilometers or once a year. This is the absolute minimum. The best solution, especially if you use your car intensively, is to inspect it more often, i.e. every 10 to 15 thousand kilometers. Ideally, you should do this before and after winter, ensuring that one of these inspections is comprehensive. Regular inspection of the car reduces the risk of breakdowns and thereby reduces costs.
